The Annual General Meeting for session 2005-2006 was held on April 28, 2006. Forty-two (42) members from the Electronics Division were present. The annual report and the Financial Statement of the Division for the 2005/2006 Session were received and adopted. For the election of Chairman and Council Representative, there was only one nominee for each post and the attendances to the AGM accepted the nomination. Therefore, for the 2006/2007 Session, Ir Prof CHOY Chiu-sing, Oliver was elected as the Chairman, and Ir Frank Chan Fan was elected as the Council Representative. For the election of Ordinary Member, one (1) valid nomination was received by the closing date for nomination. As the number of nomination received was equal to the number of vacancy available, the nominee was elected ipso facto. As there was no objection from Members present, the election result was adopted and Ir Dr Ringo LAM Wai-kit was elected.
