Programme Highlights

OTT stands for “over-the-top,” the term used for the delivery of film and TV content via the internet, without requiring users to subscribe to a traditional pay-TV service. Having achieved initial success since its launch in April 2016, myTV SUPER is on its way to becoming Hong Kong’s largest OTT online video platform for long-form video content. This service is available through mobile devices, STB, web-based devices.

Stable viewing experience, excellent picture quality, adaptive backend system and well-recognized security measurements are the key technical factors to the remarkable adoption rate for myTV SUPER.

In this technical seminar, the major technical challenges, TV viewing behavioral shift and OTT performance measurement and future development for OTT are covered.

Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English Terms)
