 Technical Webinar on “Mobility of things” by Mr. Keith Cheng

 

Synopsis:

The future of city will encompass many technology aspects to provide convenience and information transparency for different kinds of users. This session will attempt to share the effects of a new paradigm shift and what could be the upcoming technologies to increase human mobility. An example of a possible use with a cloud platform and applications (APP) for integrating various robotic system to assist facilities managers to improve the way they operate a building or a campus.

Biography of the Speaker:

Keith Cheng is the Head of Digital Hub of Siemens Advanta Solutions. He has been driving Smart City innovations in Hong Kong and Macau for the past three years in our Smart City Digital Hub. Before this, he has been Siemens for 17 years, leading a team in the railway sector to delivering ICT, Control System and Electrification projects, bidding development, innovations and people development. Before joining Siemens Hong Kong in 2000, he worked for Cable and Wireless Optus (now Optus-Singtel) in Australia as a telecommunication specialist for Customer Access Network Capacity planning and building co-location data centre concentration hubs.
