Programme Highlights

This technical seminar provides an excellent opportunity for participants to appreciate the principle and development of the latest Smartcard technology and its application in various business fields.

Smartcard technology had been widely applied in various business fields, namely Bank’s Credit cards system, stored-value transport ticket system (e.g. OCTOPUS), security’s Access Control System, etc.. Smartcards can be either contact or contactless smart card in type with different capacity of storage memory depending on for requirements of applications. Smartcards can be applied in storage of personal identification, secure data and important information in other business application.

The seminar shall cover the following topics, which the speaker shall share his experience on the latest technology and its applications.

  • Technology Overview and Operation Principle of Smartcard
  • Smartcard Application in today’s market
  • Use your smart device as a secure identity to access the building
  • Future trends
