Programme Highlight
We will be organising a visit to three companies in the Hong Kong Science Park which can provide us a glimpse of the technologies of the future.
Siemens Smart City Digital Hub
The Hub is designed as an open lab, consisting of Smart Mobility Test Bed and Smart Energy Lab and allowing experts to carry out research and development in the topics of data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity, smart building, smart energy and smart mobility. It offers start-ups and infrastructure providers a platform to create their digital portfolio and develop Made-in-Hong-Kong smart city solutions. The Hub is powered by Siemen’s MindSphere, a cloud-based IoT operating system and will initially focus on five areas, namely City Performance Tool Air (CyPT Air), Connected City Solutions (CCS), Cyber Security, Data Analytics Suitcase, and MindSphere Open IoT Platform.
SenseTime
As China’s leading cutting-edge artificial intelligence company, SenseTime focuses on innovative computer vision and deep learning technologies. As the world’s leading deep learning platform developer, SenseTime is dedicated to creating industry solutions via innovations in AI and big data analysis. HKSTP Robotics Garage
The Robotics Garage is a co-working space and DIY workshop open to all robotics enthusiasts in the community to turn their ideas into pre-commercial reality. Having engaged with about 350+ members and partners, Robotics Garage has nurtured thousands of projects by providing the platform and possibilities within the area.
