Programme highlights

To realize the smart airport vision, Airport Authority plan to catalyze digital transformation and will focus on several enabling technologies areas like biometrics, mobile technology, automation and robotics, digital twins/IOT, and big data intelligence. Effective digital solutions will also rely on the integrated applications of these technologies.

The speaker will share how Airport Authority envision the Hong Kong International Airport will look like in the future and the technologies that are currently use or plan to use in the coming future.

Ir Allan WONG, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Airport Authority Hong Kong

Ir WONG is responsible for all the information technology applications, infrastructure and operations services to Hong Kong International Airport and its airport communities. He also drives and executes smart airport vision, and focus on innovation to bring the business benefits of better passenger experience and improved operational efficiencies.

Ir WONG has almost 30 years of solid experiences in Information Technology with extensive services, consulting business and management experience across Greater China and Asia Pacific. He has also held various senior regional management positions in different multi-national corporations including Oracle Systems, Avaya and Cisco Systems.
