Agenda:

  1. Market and latest semiconductor technology advancement - Dr. Meikei Leong (25 minutes)
  2. Product management and the full design cycle - Mr. Jacky Wan (25 minutes)
  3. Forum Discussion and Questions - moderated by Ir Peter Yeung (30 min)

The presentation and discussions will be in Cantonese supplemented with presentation materials in English.

With the supply chain crunch on semiconductors, there is a global shortage of microchip in 2021 and would likely affect the coming year too.  Dr Leong will share with the audience the macro-market environment and the latest technology direction, including the 3rd generation semiconductor. Mr. Wan will share the design cycle and ways for end users to optimise the prioritise new product introduction, covering topics like changes in design cycle in the market, agility on system level re-design and component qualification, and the selection of components based on their features and availability.  After the 2 presentations, Mr. Yeung will moderate a discussion forum with the speakers to talk about the latest semi-conductor industry developments and answer questions from the audience.
