Abstract
Recently, quantum computer has been
garnering attention. Specifically, it is said that quantum computer could be
applied for all applications and is significantly fast. However, this is an
illusion. The real fact of quantum technologies is “quantum computer can
contribute to significant improvement of specific applications.”
Then, you would have questions about
applications of quantum technologies.
Which kinds of applications can be enhanced
by quantum computing?
Can consumer electronics technologies have
benefits from quantum technologies?
In this talk, the basis of quantum
technologies, its applications including consumer electronics are presented.
Biography
Dr. Yuichi Nakamura, PhD. Executive
Professional, NEC Corp.
Dr. Yuichi Nakamura received his B.E.
degree in information engineering and M.E. degree in electrical engineering
from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1986 and 1988, respectively. He
received his PhD. from the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems,
Waseda University, in 2007. He joined NEC Corp. in 1988 and he is currently an
executive professional at R&D, NEC Corp. He is also a guest professor of
National Institute of Informatics, Waseda University, University of Toyo, Osaka
University and Kyushu University. He has more than 30 years of professional
experience in digital and analog circuit design, electronic design automation,
and signal processing.
